Bow Wow is back in the music game after declaring a surprising retirement just a few months back. According to the "Shorty Like Mine" and "Like You" entertainer, Cash Money and Lil Wayne have given him a new deal. While the deal has not been formally announced, Bow Wow wrote about the news over the weekend, telling fans on Twitter: "RT THIS!!!! its official BOW WOW IS A CASH MONEY MILLIONAIRE SHOUT TO STUNNA FOR BELIEVING IN ME AND GIVN ME A CHANCE SHOUT OUT 2 WAYNE FOR LETN ME WALK ON BOARD! AND MY YM FAMILY AND CASH MONEY FAMILY LBW/CASHMONEY/YOUNGMONEY BOW WOW WAYNE AND DRAKE? WHO GOT STOP THAT TRIO! GNR LETS GO ITS SHOWTIME!" Bow Wow joins Drake, Birdman and Omarion at Cash Money and Young Money, imprints launched and affiliated with Birdman and Lil Wayne. Prior to this deal Bow Wow was signed to Columbia Records. After requesting a release from the label and declaring his retirement from music to focus on acting, Columbia Records released Bow Wow. Bow Wow released a total of six albums under the Columbia banner, including his 2000 debut "Beware of Dog" and 2009 album "New Jack City II".
