Sad news for BRAVO's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss. According to Atlanta based sources, Burruss' ex fiance, AJ Jewell's death has been ruled a homicide. While Jewell's death has been ruled a homicide, a report issued by a Fulton County, Georgia medical examiner says Jewell died of a rare trait of sickle cell anemia. "Although Mr. Jewell died of complications of his underlying natural disease conditions, [the] complications would not have occurred if he had not experienced the extreme exertion that was part of the physical altercation," the report said. "Due to the active involvement of another person, the manner of death is classified as a homicide." According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC), Jewell's family is unsatisfied with both the report and release of the man Jewell was in a fight with prior to his death. Released on bond, sources say Frederick Richardson is charged with voluntary manslaughter. Jewell died October 2. Appearing alongside 'Atlanta Housewives' star and singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss for much of the show's second season on BRAVO, Jewell's death shocked fans and Burruss. Speaking of his death at one point, Burruss said "I had spoken to AJ two hours before I got the call that he was in the hospital. Never in a thousand years did I think it was going to be the last time I heard his voice. He was taken way too soon. There are so many things that I should have said to him, wanted to say to him... But now it's too late." SOURCE:(sr)
