Hard Rock International has teamed up with a number of artists for its global Imagine There’s No Hunger campaign to benefit WHY (World Hunger Year), a non-profit organisation that strives to fight against hunger and poverty. The campaign comes to London next week when the capital’s Hard Rock Cafe hosts a benefit concert headlined by Joss Stone on December 1. “I’m really happy and excited to be able to be an Artist Ambassador once again for Hard Rock’s Imagine There’s No Hunger campaign and to lend my time and support to World Hunger Year, so that together we can try to put an end to world hunger,” says Stone, who was also an ambassador for the cause in 2008. Also performing are American rock band O.A.R. – this year’s global artist ambassador for the campaign. The invitation-only event will feature appearances by several artists and special guests who are committed to the cause with all proceeds benefitting WHY.
