Ledge

LEDGE is a French based and conceived band formed by Polérik Rouvière and Olivier Martyn in 2001 Their sound is characterised by dance floor rhythms and saturated keyboards complimented by captivating lyrics and layered harmonies.

The band released their first album "A Ledge Odyssey" in 2003 on the new Parisian label Ledge Music created by the duo. Singles such as "Together" and "Icarus" were largely broadcasted on radio stations and used as the jingle of "Radio FG découvreurs de talents" (Radio FG talents discovery)

Polérik and Olivier's adventures continued as producers and remixers of famous artists such as Alain Souchon, Culture Club (Boy George) and Dax Riders. The famous American series The Sopranos has even covered a version of one of their productions.

In 2009 they decided to produce a new LEDGE album. Their enriched experiences showed up straight away.

The first EP "This is Ledge" from this second album was released on 14th of September 2009 with limited free downloads and on sale via the internet.

Straight after its release the first single "California" has been playlisted on the Berlin influential Radio Fritz and LEDGE has been invited to take part in a TV show dedicated to indie bands on MTV. The second LP is expected be released this winter.
